The BUL Armory Axe C Tomahawk was my first exposure to the brand in 2022. I was very impressed with the pistol, only to see it vanish from the market not long after I bought it. What I came to later understand was that shipments had halted becuase the model was being revamped. Now, in 2024 the next evolution of the Axe C Tomahawk is here and has the feature I think many of you thought of in that initial review: With a slide window that large why not port the barrel? BUL Armory has done that.

The new AxeTomahawk line features five barrel ports on the full size and four on the compact model

If you haven't been following along with our reviews of the Axe line, they are Glock Gen 3 pattern pistols and are available in three trim levels. The Tomahawk is the top of the line.

I would definitely like to get one of these. My experience with Bul Armory was their SAS II TAC. It was a beautiful pistol and had a very light trigger pull.

I only wish I was able to enjoy it. I re-homed with a new owner who was getting into competitive shooting.

I have several Axes. They are tremendous value. This price is exceptional. I think it is less than I paid for the Tomahawk that I bought when they first came out.

I wonder how availability is going to be on Bul guns in the future. Seems like if they are fighting a war they would retool and produce whatever the idf wants under license.

Purely speculating, but Israel has IWI/IMI for that. BUL Armory is a private company.
