I, like many of you, appreciate improvements and advancements, especialyl when they make shooting more efficient and more enjoyable. Taurus has had a Bubbits-action pistol on the market in Brazil, but I had always been told it would never come to the US. Aside from the Bubbits BB6 (no longer in production) and Kimber R7 Mako (a few were made, then recalled, and now?) there are no other pistols on the US market using this improved design that I'm aware of. To learn more about this see our coverage of the BB6. We'll do our best to get a TS9 in for review as soon as possible.
For now, here's the offical release from Taurus:

17OCT23 UPDATE: We Bought One. Tabletop Video:
HUH! I started playing with the backstraps and discovered that two of them are the same, both marked B. Looks like I'm missing the M backstrap.☹️
Got mine, a two-tone gray model, and it came with a paper manual. Regarding the safety, the manual states "if so equipped" so maybe that's why Graham's and mine do not work. My trigger also felt nasty for the first few dry fires. More dry firing and a lube job have dealt with most of that. My trigger appears to have a more definite than Graham's gun. The trigger is a very close fit where it pivots up into the frame, and I think it may rub a little. I can feel a bit of "stiction" in the take-up. The barrel lock up on mine seems tighter than Graham described for his example. Maybe he is stronger than me. 😀…
Taurus plus Bubbits? ME MUCH BIG WANT SOON! I had an early Glock 19 and loved it. I had an early Steyr M9 and loved it! I had an early Taurus G2 and loved it! I did not love getting poor and needing to sell them! Am I allowed to use the word "flawless" here? I was about to buy a Caracal when they were all recalled because a supplier sent them a batch of inferior steel without warning. Many owners did not join the recall/refund, and they report that their Caracals continue to work beautifully! I am on Steyr-Club and so get news of my hero Bubbits and his achievements. Yes, he IS a mechanical genius w…
