Canik continues to expand their line of incredible pistols which now include a steel-framed variant. We had a chance to check one out a few months before launch and were impressed with how the added heft made an already smooth-shooting platform even smoother shooting. Of note is the MSRP. Despite these pistols costing significantly more to produce than their polymer-framed root, the price increase isn't as high as one might expect.

Canik Announces the All New SFx Rival-S Steel Framed Pistol
Delray Beach, Fla. – (January 3, 2023) – Canik is proud to announce the next step in superior firearms with the creation of the Canik SFx Rival-S. The SFx Rival-S is available in two aggressively priced versions at launch with the Rival-S (Chrome) $949.99 and Rival-S Dark Side (Black) $899.99. Accessories to customize the Rival-S including multiple color and material choices will be readily available from Canik in the months to come.

Love the canik trigger probably one of the best on the market definitely not an EDC type firearm..with that being said a metal framed hammer fired sidearm from canik would be awesome 😎 just saying some of us Carry
While I'm fond of polymer-framed handguns for self-defense and concealed carry, I prefer the steel frame for target and competition shooting. Canik is pushing the envelope for superiority in the pistol market.
It's crazy that we are going back to steel frame guns. The Rival s is definitely priced cheaper than other steel frame handguns. This is alot better advancement than the Miami Vice themed Caniks. Who would buy those, especially at $799. I am looking forward to the channels' review on the Rival s. Canik has so many options now.
