Sig announced today a new pistol that looks to provide the best of their 365 models with a new longer grip module for even more capacity and a true full-hand grip. The build uses the shorter 3.1" barrel of the P365 with the longer slide length of a P365XL; using the longer slide to integrate a compensator without inspiring the reliability issues that thread-on compensators can cause. With that up top the Macro grip module completely envelops a new 17-round magazine.

I'm sure there are some who would say this makes the P365 not a micro anymore, but with the 365's magazine design I bet this is one of the slimmest and most portable 17+1 9mm pistols ever made.

Here's our tabletop look:

We don't have current retail pricing, but am guessing this to be somewhere in the high $700s to low $800s. We'll have better pricing and links once in our review as well as more in-depth coverage. For now here's the press release and information from Sig.

In the mean time, you've got a chance at finding current pricing and availability across the web HERE.

Launch price of $799.99 at GrabaGun

I own Sig's, I love Sig's (living 20 mins away from Sig is not a bias) BUT I vividly remember the debacle when the P365 was originally released....primer drag, trigger spring failures, bent firing pins....etc, and so I will "patiently" wait till the coast is clear before greedily snatching my own up. I share your hand size issues Graham, so I'll be eyeballing this for now. Looking forward to the range review, and final thoughts from you and Teya!
